I am insured, does Mr Slesser see insured patients in the private sector? Yes Mr Slesser is recognised by all major medical insurers and will be happy to see you.
Does Mr Slesser see self pay patients? Yes Mr Slesser will be very happy to help you and is signed up to competitive self pay packages at the private hospitals where he works.
I am insured but I have an excess how will this work? Mr Slesser is recognised by all private medical insurers but does not work for them as such any excess or gap which is unpaid by the insurer will be billed directly to you.
I am self funded and I wish to be seen by Mr Slesser, what are his consultation fees? Currently Mr Slesser will bill £250 for an initial consultation and £150 for a follow up consultation at the Bishops Wood Hospital and the Clementine Churchill Hospital. For central London the fees are £300 for an initial consultation and £200 for a follow up consultation.
I am a NHS patient and I wish to see Mr Slesser? Mr Slesser does the majority of his work in the NHS at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as such you can be referred by your GP to see Mr Slesser there.
I am a NHS patient under Mr Slesser and I would like an update? Mr Slesser's private team will be unable to update you. Please contact the colorectal secretaries via The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's switchboard.
I am insured and I have a complex colorectal or surgical condition will Mr Slesser see me? Mr Slesser is always happy to provide an opinion or a second opinion for patients who have complex surgical conditions. If complex inpatient surgery is required it is unlikely that the private medical insurer will cover Mr Slesser's full costs. Please contact Mr Slesser's team before booking in to see him if you are insured for further information.
